Many of you have asked if I would be covering the Epstein files… some of you taking to direct message with assumptions of how I will cover it and going so far as to tell me what I had better say. If you’ve been following long, you know and know well, that’s not how I operate.

You can listen to me cover the files & a secodary topic, the World Liberty Forum, HERE or HERE… or watch HERE.

If you are hoping to hear me say with certainty that Donald Trump is innocent, you are not going to be happy. If you are here hoping to hear me declare Donald trump a pedophile you are not going to leave happy either.

Is it the truth we are after?

We all need to take a pause and ask,”what is it we really want?” Do we want the truth? Or, is it our version of the truth that we actually want? Do we just want to hear what upholds our current political framework and keeps us comfortable? Do we want the people who speak up to be the kind that just tickle our ears – or the kind that willingly say “I don’t know” because they (we) are unwilling to knowingly speak a lie?

If you are using the Epstein Files as an opportunity to sling mud and say, “I told you so” about a politician you already disliked, in my opinion that’s disrespectful to the actual firsthand victims of Jeffery Epstein, his circle and those who participated in abuse. The American people at large are victims of an elite class in many ways. But, in this case we must see ourselves secondary to those directly involved so as not to reduce this a political back and forth.

If your personal feelings about Donald Trump are the biggest factor (or a factor at all) as to whether you think he’s innocent or guilty, you might want to check yourself out on this… and we should apply this broadly to any politician or celebrity. Our feelings about people doesn’t ever determine their innocence or guilt, facts do.

If you are passionate about any largely political or governmental issue… any issue that involves seeking accountability through the justice system but haven’t called your United States representative, senator or possibly governor, but you are reaching out to or badgering podcasters influencers or commentators online to share their opinion, what are you doing?! You have misplaced anger, misplaced expectations and misunderstood roles.

The TRUTH is what we should be seeking and along with it accountability. So, as always, I’m going to be as truthful and honest as possible. Though I have spent several hours searching the Department of Justice site, enough to see the grotesque evil nature of what is within the files, I have not and will not have the time to research to the extent the Epstein case warrants, here in lies part of my frustration which we’ll get to.

The “files” might not be what you imagine they are

When I posed the question on social media, “have you been on the DOJ site and searched the files?” Most replied that they had not… and there’s no problem with that. But, if you haven’t personally done a few searches and clicked around, you might have an inaccurate picture of what the files actually are.

The “files” aren’t 3.5 million pages of evil, incriminating communication between Epstein and his “clients.” It’s a collection of evidence like a police file, where much of it is actually benign. You’ll find pages upon pages of political news articles, many pages entered multiple times and not everyone mentioned (searchable by name) has any actual involvement. Some names you find in the file, for example, are people who have also been investigating and writing about Jeffrey Epstein.

Not everyone mentioned is guilty

I want to give you an example of someone I’ve seen taking heat online that may or may not be involved, (I don’t know) Adam Sandler. I randomly picked this Hollywood celeb after reading his name in a comment section where someone asked, why is no one talking about right leaning celebrities?

First, Adam Sandler being right leaning is news to me. But, I actually had seen several people talking about his involvement so, I decided to plug his name into the search. Fifty-five pages populated and I read them all. Almost one third of them were an invitation (the exact same invitation repeated) to Jeffrey Epstein (not from Adam Sandler) to attend an awards event. The invitation listed approximately ten celebrities that would be honored, one of them being, Adam Sandler. Others were emails with jokes that included lines from Adam Sandler movies. Maybe they carry meaning. Maybe it was code. Maybe he’s being falsely accused online.

The search feature on the DOJ site is particularly horrible. For example, I can search Bill Gates and thousands of pages populate but if I search Bill Gates virus, Bill Gates marry or Bill Gates STD (all words that appear within a single file) I get nothing. So if we want to find something specific regarding Bill Gates in the files we actually have to sift through thousands of entries.

Understanding “the files”

If you haven’t already went to the DOJ website, you don’t have to, but if you are not going to investigate what is within the files yourself you might be better off not listening to any of the preliminary online chatter or at the very least be willing to hold it at arms length, because I’m finding all sides to be incredibly misleading when speaking to specifics of individual involvement.

House in Habit on instagram is an interesting one to watch specifically on Epstein. She has been more entrenched in the depths of this case than most. That said, as always I’m watching with discernment, assessing with scrutiny and not believing everything I see.

The other thing we all need to keep in mind is that these files have already been sifted through. We aren’t getting the raw unfiltered version. It is HEAVILY redacted and they were promised to us a year ago… we’re just getting them now.

My first thought, does anyone regret…

Does anyone regret being mad at me for calling the release of the white binders a BIG JOKE  in February 2025? I was so frustrated after watching Pam Bondi go on her TV tour saying, “the information is on my desk” apparently without looking at it.  Then, she went on to release white binders to influencers who waved them around, also apparently without looking at them, only to find it was all the previously known and released information.

What was doubly frustrating was the undercurrent of excitement at the time that we had a new, ‘independent’ media with access to provide more truth and more transparency but that ‘independent media’ was so excited to show off their newly gained access that they failed to do the first and most important thing: inform themselves.

The real scandal is that there are Epstein FILES in the first place. The fact that there has to be more than one page of information let alone 3.5 million pages and the people elected to represent us just sit on it speaks volumes to the current state of America.

Which brings about another interesting point – several years ago Whitney Webb went on a handful of podcasts including Glenn Beck’s discussing Epstein as involved in blackmail and an agent of Mossad involved with our CIA. There’s interestingly not much current discussion on that line of thinking even possibly people distancing themselves from that narrative.

But, back to The fact that our supposedly representative government can just sit on pages of filth…

The elite are a protected class.

Like everything else these files keep the overwhelmed common man busy while the elites are free to continue making moves building their success — this ties into the secondary topic (World discussed on the podcast episode.  But as an example, let’s talk taxes.

The average American, especially those who are small business owners, is overwhelmed by the complicated tax code. It’s complicated on purpose. We spend days meeting and crunching numbers just to pay taxes, try to grow wealth and pass it on to our children only to be taxed yet again on things we’ve worked to own. The government always needs one more piece of the pie. The elitists, meanwhile, are free of these burdens, able to work, continue building wealth and plotting how to use their acquired wealth to acquire power. They simply hire someone to sort it out for them, form a “charity” to funnel money through or reinvest to defer all income to the future and pay no tax.

I thought we already paid someone to do that?

Back to the Epstein Files. It’s great to have them or at least a portion of them in the public eye, but personally I’m frustrated at the release from the standpoint that it’s signaling that it’s our turn to sift through 3.5 million pages. It’s our turn to figure out who is at fault within them, who should be held accountable all while trying to raise kids, serve in our communities and work jobs that provide tax dollars to our bloated government. The government, funded by way of heavy taxation on the average American, employs thousands of people, 115 thousand according to the last record I can find, whose actual job is to investigate this for us. Over 115 thousand people, employed by the Department of Justice for the purpose of upholding the law and executing justice, yet we are now sifting through millions of files. Like the complicated tax code, these files feel like yet another thing to keep the common man preoccupied with busy work.

Call me jaded but we are supposed to learn from history right? Historically the American federal government’s track record is one of zero accountability for elites… outside of accountability for the sake of political convenience (i.e. political games).

I hope to be proven wrong on this but I’m not holding my breath.

Politics, Trump and the Epstein Files

Politically each side is attempting to use this to their advantage by pinning guilt on anyone on the opposite side of the aisle. Some of you have asked specifically what I think about Donald Trump’s involvement, while it doesn’t matter much what I think, most of you asking this, like me, fall on a more conservative or libertarian political continuum. Many of you, also like me, voted for DJT therefore his name within the files matters more to you than some others.

I’ve  listened to a lot of commentary from many on the right and the left and Alex Jones’ explanation seemed to echo most on the right. In this clip, from the Benny Johnson show, which you can listen to here or here on my episode, Alex Jones says Trump isn’t in the files, talks about Trump’s hoax comment and says this is the best thing that could happen to Trump because it’s all democrats in the files. As an aside, it is a bit interesting in and of itself that Alex Jones is going on these more mainstream toe the line conservative shows, like the Benny Johnson Show.

Trump’s name is in the files, so to say it’s not is a lie. But, I think what Alex Jones is trying to convey is that – from his perspective –  there is nothing incriminating within the files. I did personally search the files for “Donald Trump.” That search populated a couple thousand files. Clearly I don’t have the bandwidth to sort through to the bottom of that kind of stack. I did however look through many of the first several pages of files. Most of what I found is truly news articles, policy and government related. There is; however, a large section involving accusations with teen girls. Curiously, this file is dated August 2025 and there is a portion within that says the witnesses are giving secondhand accounts/aren’t credible. I’m not going to tell you what to think about this, I’m just telling you what I see.

Alex Jones also mentioned DJT’s “hoax” comment. This is something specific I have been asked about by a few of you. You can listen back to what Trump said here.

I can actually see the line of thinking Alex Jones was on, that the hoax comment was directed only toward Trump’s own involvement, similar to  Russia Gate rather than being about the files as a whole.  When it comes to the media, Trump tends to focus on himself and they also tend to focus on him rather than the more broad picture. The reporter’s question was directed at Trump personally and he does speak of the files as a whole within the clip as real, as evidenced by mentioning “handing over thousands and thousands of files.” So, it seems to be probable that it would be accurate to assume Trump was calling the files a hoax in the sense that he is claiming his involvement was fabricated.

What we say matters

Given comments Donald Trump has made publicly and the life he lived in his younger years, it seems naive to believe that he couldn’t possibly be guilty of some level of involvement. Many are running with the fact that he’s innocent after hearing an online commentator say so because that belief is comforting to them. That said, I am not automatically believing him guilty of anything. I simply don’t know. (I said this a little differently in the podcast episode but writing always allows for the most clarity)

One thing I’m sure of though, this is a good opportunity for a lesson in living a life that stands up to scrutiny. It doesn’t mean that we can’t be forgiven for past mistakes, decisions made and things we said that were not illegal but certainly in bad taste when we were younger and less wise. But it does mean that our past has a way of following us even if we do grow up and change our ways, especially when in the public eye.

People will use our known public interactions as a litmus test for how they imagine we have conducted ourselves in unknown situations. This is part of why some people are finding it easy to believe Donald Trump is at fault – there’s no gasp… “no, not him” for many because of few well known past public interactions with women.

I’m just saying what I see and saying it as someone who voted for Trump in the general election and doesn’t regret my decision.

On the other side of the aisle there are many names as well. Barack Obama is mentioned, also a couple thousand times and like Trump those mentions from what I was capable of combing through were mostly politically related news articles.

Even if they weren’t directly involved

Regardless of personal implication of direct involvement with Epstein and his abuses, one thing is pretty clear everyone in the most upper echelon of politics knew Epstein – most of the sitting US Presidents within my lifetime. Many, at the very least partied with him and bottom line they knew, maybe not right away but well before this moment in time where the public is clamoring for some accountability – which is enough for me to say they are all at fault to some extent and carry some level of responsibility, again, regardless of their own personal involvement.

Bottom line, I’m unwilling at this time to stake a claim on the innocence or guilt of many people, at least those who people seem to have a large stake in one or the other being true when I have no access to the verifiable truth.  So, I’m going to leave this at my previous expressed frustration that we, the American people, are essentially left holding the bag on this, trying to decipher who should be held accountable all while knowing there will likely be no accountability whatsoever. Also taking into account that I don’t think the CIA is done messing with us…  I’m very careful of taking on firm beliefs on all sides about the information I’m allowed to see, at the moment in time they want me to see it. Remember, this was all supposed to be released by the Trump Administration a year ago. Ghislane Maxwell was found guilty in 2021 and Jeffrey Epstein was reported dead in 2019.

For the Christians

In our home we’ve been using a book that goes through the Psalms. As I read through Psalm 10 with my kids, we talked about how some of the psalms feature prayers  that are actually against your enemies. My girls said they had noticed that when reading on their own and agreed that it was a difficult concept. Should we pray that harm come to others?

Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call his wickedness to account till you find none. Psalm 10:15

We concluded that as we pray we must examine whether we are trying to persuade God to what we think is right and just in an attempt to sway his will without acknowledging our own sin, or are we praying prayers such as Psalm 10 with true understanding that we ourselves are powerless so we pray not as a suggestion to God but willingly leaving things that we can not control up to Him.

As I was mulling over the Epstein Files, people’s calls for justice and the messaging on social media geared toward the average mom to not “sit back and do nothing,” I thought back to that discussion with my girls. Prayer is a legitimate weapon, in fact recently I’ve been personally convicted that it’s the weapon I don’t reach for often enough and that’s got to be the work of Satan, keeping us trying to do it on our own.

Prayer, the best weapon we have

You know how someone in the military, in special forces, for example, has a “favorite firearm?” For those of us who are Christians, prayer should be that in times of trouble. Prayer really should be our favorite spiritual weapon in times like these. So, as we proceed with all this information of evil in the world, we can and should continue calls for accountability, but also, we must remember praying isn’t doing nothing. When we pray we are reaching for the best weapon we have against every evil.

Rita, thank you for writing such a thought provoking article. What I found the most disturbing in this whole story regardless of anyone’s personal involvement is they all knew and said nothing and did nothing to protect the victims. I read an article that stated Trump was the first person who called the police officer who was investigating Epstein at the time and thanked him for doing so. People praise Trump for that. Trump also directed him to look into Epstein’s dealings in New York and pointed to Ghislane as his associate/ right hand which means essentially calling to be a witness. But Trump also said everyone knew what Epstein was up to, I mean the people who were associated with him knew. So everyone knew and did nothing? Shouldn’t they all have been running to police to report about the criminal activities? Maybe legally they are not liable for anything but morally it basically makes them accessory to a crime. I agree that prayer is the answer in these tumultuous times.

Knew and did nothing, now we get it put in our lap… which, to be fair, the people asked for but we’ve also called for accountability. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts! Appreciate it very much.
